We collect information necessary to provide and operate the Service.
Account Information: When businesses create an account, we may collect name, business name, phone number, email address, authentication credentials, and billing information.
Customer Data: Businesses using Kaimen may store customer names, phone numbers, booking details, messaging conversations, and service history. This data is controlled by the business using Kaimen.
Messaging Data: When the platform sends or receives messages, we may process message content, timestamps, sender and recipient phone numbers, and delivery status information.
Usage Data: We automatically collect technical information such as IP address, device type, browser information, usage logs, and system events.
Media: Businesses may upload photos or media (such as worker photos) through the platform.
We use information to operate and maintain the platform, process bookings, enable messaging, improve reliability, provide support, detect abuse, and process billing. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Kaimen acts as a service provider / processor for customer data stored by businesses. Businesses using Kaimen are responsible for obtaining customer consent, complying with privacy laws, and determining how customer data is used. Kaimen processes data only to provide the platform.
Kaimen uses third-party services to operate parts of the platform, including Twilio (messaging), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI processing), Cloudinary (media storage), and Railway (infrastructure). These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services.
We retain data only as long as necessary to operate the Service and comply with legal obligations. Businesses may delete their data through the platform where available. Certain system logs may be retained for security or operational purposes.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no system can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their own account credentials.
Depending on your location, individuals may have rights regarding their personal information, including access, correction, deletion, and restriction of processing. Requests should typically be directed to the business that collected the data. Kaimen will assist businesses in fulfilling lawful requests where applicable.
Kaimen may process data in countries other than the one where users reside. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers where permitted by law.

If you use Kaimen to communicate with customers, you must obtain proper consent before sending marketing messages, honor opt-out requests, follow messaging regulations, and comply with the policies of messaging providers. Failure to do so may result in suspension of messaging features.
Users may not attempt to bypass platform safeguards, probe or exploit system vulnerabilities, interfere with platform operation, overload infrastructure with abusive traffic, or attempt to access data belonging to other customers.
You may not upload or transmit content that is illegal, sexually explicit, promotes violence or harassment, infringes intellectual property, or violates applicable laws.
Kaimen reserves the right to investigate suspected violations. We may warn users, disable messaging features, suspend or terminate accounts, or report illegal activity where required.
